Our tire pressure monitoring system constantly gives you accurate readings of the pressure in each tire. Most of the air gauge used to check tire pressure is out by more than 5%. Our system will also warn you of a slow leak or high wheel temperature when you are driving.
Because the sensor is inside the wheel it will always give an accurate temperature and will not be affected by snow or ice. The sensor will work down to -40 Celsius. If it gets colder than that the sensor will not read but will start transmitting again when you are moving because the wheel will warm up.
No the sensor will not affect wheel balance. Because it is on the rim close to the center of rotation and it is not heavy it will not affect the balancing.

You can either move the chip that comes with the sensor to the new location or reprogram a new chip using the handheld smartTtool. Most facilities move the chip.
